It’s always fun to work with great couples.  This was no exception.  It started out with a jump in the ocean to shoot the Groom’s and Groomsmen’s morning surf session.  Unfortunately, I did not have my boogie board and had to borrow one from the rental stand.  There was no wax on this thing so I was slipping all over the place.  Plus, I did not have my vipers so I was not used to the fins I used.  And of course my GoPro mount was on my board.  I did not have my board because Lisa, my wife, left the house before I could get it out of her car.  I tried to call her but, of course, she left her phone at home.  But it all worked out.

I know I was totally in the surfers’ way but I wanted to get the best shots I could.  And it was for a good cause:  Dawny and Kalei’s wedding.  Oh well, you gotta forgive a boogie boarder who’s trying to make the groom look like a hero on his wedding day.
