Back in 2000, I was inspired by the movie the Matrix to create a similar effect called Bullet Time or Time Freeze.  This is when people would be “frozen” in mid-movement and the camera appeared to move around the person.

At the time, I was working at a camera shop and was able to get all the pieces together to recreate this effect.  We recently moved to a larger studio space and in the move, I found the original footage.

We have re-digitized the film and did a quick reassembly of the footage.  Plus, threw in some other effects for fun.   Here are our early attempts in 2000.
