What I get out of this is a reminder on the infinite ways to shoot a closeup. It reminds me of different ways to motivate movement. There are obvious push in and pull out. But less obvious are having the character move into the close up or turn into the close up. Or using reveals from very wide to close. It reminds me to use other characters to crop some of the shot to emphasize the closeup. Also use of foreground, middleground, and background to build the closeup. There is also great examples of using light and shadow.
