55th Annual Science Fair

These are some videos we shot and edited for the 55th Annual Hawaii Science Fair.  It was a tight timeline shoot on Tuesday and deliver on Wednesday.  They were displayed during the awards ceremony.  It was amazing to see the geniuses at the fair.  There is much hope for our future.  This was produced in conjunction with the great folks at Zeyar.

Nan and Yun – Highlight Film

We had the wonderful opportunity to work with a great couple, a great wedding planner, and some awesome photographers.

The couple flew in from Virginia but lots of their family came in from China.  This was shot on Maui at the Molokini Lookout in Wailea and it was absolutely gorgeous.  The reception was at Lower Lawn at Gannon’s Restaurant.  Lena of Belle Destination Weddings and Events did a great job.  The photographers were Rebecca and Jonathan of Tamiz

On our way there, the airline lost of our equipment cases, but we recovered in time for the wedding.

Aloha,

We had the distinct pleasure of working with Island Fusion Catering and photograph their work at an actual wedding.  They brought me in just to capture what they do.  My compliments to the chefs/owners and their crew.  They do an amazing job and cook the food on site at the events.  The photos are of the actual food that was served with very minimal styling.  That means I did not put “food makeup” on the dishes.  (Some photographers resort to using things like oil, powder, and other things to enhance the look of the food in the photograph.)

We’re excited to also be working on a promotional video for them too.  It is coming soon, but will highlight what makes them special:  incredible menus, local ingredients, bought fresh, prepared on site, and great service.  Stay tuned for that.  To check them out, visit www.IslandFusionCatering.com
